We’ve been to Canada three times in the past eight years. Here are a few things we’ve learned that may or may not be helpful to you if you are traveling outside the US. This is just stuff we know. I am not a travel reporter with confidently researched information. Let the reader beware….

Eating in Newfoundland was a remarkable experience. Nothing was astonishing right off the bat, in fact the tale I am about to tell will not sound one bit extraordinary – but the lived experience was a slow revelation.

Buckle Up!
Len first found and baked this recipe for Strawberry Rhubarb Buckle. It’s a coffee cake where you put most of the batter into a cake pan, put the tangy rhubarb sauce on next. Dollop on the last of the batter, then put brown sugar butter crumbs over it all and bake.
